Each one of us are traveling along a unique Life path that involves inevitable change and growth, joy and sorrow, laughter and tears. These experiences, although at times incredibly challenging, have the potential to provide us with important lessons and opportunities to grow if we are able to see the deeper truth within them. My intention is to help people see this truth, both within their life experiences as well as within themselves. With a focus on the mind-body connection, our collaborative work together will involve identifying and shifting the patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that are no longer serving you. This organic process unlocks the potential for you to release the past, reclaim your power, and fulfill your highest potential.
I utilize a holistic and integrative approach by combining traditional and body-centered psychotherapy with other mindfulness and strengths-based practices. My work is guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep reverence for the human experience. During our sessions I hope to co-create a space of authenticity, connection, and safety with the goal of partnering alongside you to support you toward empowerment and growth as you reclaim your story.
I believe all people, despite their wounds or challenges, are whole, worthy beings, and it would be my honor to walk beside you on your journey to connect you with your own strengths, power, and intrinsic wisdom. Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your therapy sessions will cost. Your fee will be set according to a sliding scale, in collaboration with your therapist, prior to your first counseling session. Total costs depend upon the number of sessions you choose to utilize.
If you have private health insurance and we are not in-network with your plan, please be aware that your costs for therapy may be less by using an in-network provider. This will depend upon your plan's deductible amounts and co-payments. In some cases, counseling at Shine a Light is less costly than using private insurance.
If you hope to use "out of network" benefits through your private insurance, please be aware that many plans will not reimburse for services provided by trainees. Please request an Associate level therapists for out-of-network billing.
