AMFT #144008

Hello, I’m Alora.

I believe therapy works best when people feel safe enough to show up honestly, without fear of judgment or performance. In my practice, I aim to create a space rooted in authenticity, curiosity, and humility, where clients feel empowered to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

As a biracial, first-generation college graduate, I value approaching therapy with cultural humility and an awareness of the many ways identity and lived experience shape how we move through the world.

I work with individuals, couples, teens, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting stress, depression, domestic violence, grief, postpartum, late-term pregnancy loss, and questions surrounding spirituality or identity.

I have a particular passion for working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities, informed by both clinical and personal lived experience.

Because every client is different, I tailor therapy to the individual and draw from approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed care.

At the heart of my work is the belief that people are not defined by their struggles or inherited stories. Therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself more honestly and compassionately.

Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me outdoors hiking and exploring new places, reading or writing, gardening, attending live music or poetry events, or relaxing with my cats.
