Hi, I’m Jordan. I approach counseling with warmth, creativity, and collaboration, and hope to create a space where you can feel genuinely heard, supported, and at ease showing up as yourself. Including the parts of you that may have been labeled messy, difficult, or better kept hidden.
I have experience in crisis support and education and am especially drawn to client-centered, art-based, narrative, and somatic approaches to therapy. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz, I’ve always been curious about people’s stories and the experiences that shape how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our healing. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions.
I come to this work as a queer, Jewish, cisgender white woman, and I recognize that both our identities and the systems we live within shape how we experience the world. I strive to approach these complexities with humility and an ongoing commitment to allyship.
I believe healing involves the whole person and can happen both inside and outside of the therapy room through meaningful relationships, movement, time in nature, and connection with our bodies. In our work together, I hope to help you better understand your own story, reconnect with parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way, and discover what helps you move toward greater ease, joy, and fulfillment.
