I use a variety of therapeutic orientations. I draw from the psychodynamic perspective, meaning we will work together to discover how your past is influencing your life today, in order to help you increase your self-awareness and reach your goals. We may discover that you are unaware of certain thoughts and feelings. Our discussion of these thoughts and feelings could help you make choices that lead to creating the life you want. I also use strength-based therapy, which identifies and develops your strengths.

You will decide what we talk about, and we will go at your pace. I will be an active participant in the session, offering a different perspective, and providing insight into understanding the way you think and feel.

I have provided therapy to children, teens, adults, families, and groups. I have worked with clients with anxiety, depression, and various kinds of trauma. I also have experience working with clients in domestic violence relationships, as well as with clients who were formerly incarcerated.

My special interests include working with parents who would like support with their children, people who are dealing with long-term health problems, people who are Covid-cautious, and former foster youth.

Currently, I am working with adults, couples, and families, as well as tweens and teens (ages 11+).
