I approach therapy as a partnership, and an opportunity to experience the world around me through other people’s perspectives, with curiosity and without guesses or judgement. Our ways of existing in the world are so varied! I am here to support you, listen, and help you see the puzzle pieces you want to fit together. This is what drew me to become a therapist and it’s why I love what I do. Everyone needs space to think and be themselves.

I have personally had a wide range of lived experiences and sought out ways to move forward and grow even when challenges felt hopeless or discouraging. It can take time, support and grace to learn that you can trust yourself to handle adversity. What wisdom do you already have? How do we learn to hear it over the noise of unhealthy coping mechanisms, trauma and the mixed messages of society in general?

I have my Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and I am pursuing licensure at Shine a Light. I am excited to work with individuals and couples, to work with neurodivergent populations and people in recovery. I have personal experience with perinatal, parenting, feminist and LGBTQ+ perspectives as well as grief and new life-chapters. As an associate clinical social worker it is important to me that my practice respects a client’s autonomy while acknowledging the systems around them: no one lives in a vacuum. I find CBT, DBT (you are already good AND have room for change) and narrative therapy natural fits for exploring a client’s worldview and I am comfortable working long term or in more fixed, short-term modalities such as strategic and solutions-focused therapy.
