I became a Postpartum Doula in the midst of the pandemic just after my son was born, driven by the recognition that the invaluable emotional care and support necessary for new families was not readily accessible during the lockdown. With a background in social and reproductive justice, birthwork, and indigenous wisdom keeping, working to connect and provide the service of community care has always been a mission and a passion of mine.

Shine a Light is a beautiful opportunity for being in service to the community in this way. As Administrative Manager, I am honored to both support our therapists on their education journeys as well as providing a much needed accessible resource for our community.

I was born and raised in Ohio, but Santa Cruz has been my home for 7 years now. Outside of work, I love running around with my son and delighting in his curiosity, and exploring the world through food and travel with my partner and friends.
