AMFT #150878
I am dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves, cultivate self-awareness, and create meaningful change. My approach is grounded in humanistic principles, honoring each person’s innate capacity for growth, healing, and resilience.
Drawing from Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices, I work collaboratively with clients to explore present-moment experience, deepen understanding of internal dynamics, and strengthen the connection between mind and body. I believe that symptoms often carry important messages, and that healing occurs when we approach all parts of ourselves with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
My work supports clients in navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and issues of identity and self-worth. Together, we create a safe, nonjudgmental space where deeper awareness can emerge, old patterns can be understood, and new possibilities can unfold.
While therapy can involve profound and meaningful work, I also believe there is an important place for humor in the healing process. Humor can help us loosen the grip of shame, gain perspective, and remember that even in our struggles, we remain fully human. Humor, when used thoughtfully, can create moments of connection and relief that support growth and transformation. I strive to create a space where difficult emotions are welcome, curiosity is encouraged, and laughter can occasionally sit alongside tears.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that meaningful change happens through authentic connection—with ourselves, our bodies, and others. My goal is to help clients develop a deeper relationship with all parts of themselves while creating space for both the challenges and joys of being human.
