Welcome! I’m happy you’re here. It takes courage to reach out for help when we’re not feeling our best. Life can be tricky (that’s an understatement!) and sometimes making it through a week, a day, an hour, can be a struggle. Know you’re not alone. We all want to be heard, seen, and loved for exactly who we are. No judgement. One thing I’m sure of is we all have our issues. Life can be messy and heartbreaking. Sometimes there are times when we need help to climb out of whatever it is we’re dealing with. It IS a process but little by little, it’s possible to heal. I’m hoping to help you on that journey.

What brought me to this path as a Mental Health Professional trainee is the desire to support and uplift others. To meet someone where they are with compassion and empathy. To navigate, side by side, what may be a bumpy, painful road for someone willing to do the work. After many years working in Broadcast Journalism I realized while I enjoyed hearing people’s stories, I wanted to be able to actually help someone change their life in a constructive way. I’d like to be able to provide a safe space where you feel empowered to not just share, but to share your entire self. Even those messy parts you hold close to your heart.

There are a number of theories Counselors rely on working with clients (each person is incredibly unique!) but what I routinely come back to is Person-Centered Therapy. Basically, that we all have an innate tendency towards growth and healing. I’m not here to “fix” you but rather to show unconditional positive regard and encourage you to be your best self. Whatever that looks like for you. I look forward to meeting you.
