MFT Trainee

I offer a relational and attuned approach to therapy, walking alongside you as we gently uncover and heal old wounds that may still be shaping your life.  I am deeply interested in how your story has shaped you — the experiences, relationships, and patterns that helped you survive, and the ones that may now be holding you back from feeling grounded, clear, and connected in this challenging world we live in as humans.

Through empathetic and active listening, my hope is to create a safe and steady holding space where you can explore your feelings, gain insight, and begin making choices that feel healthier and more aligned with your authentic self. Together, we can gently uncover the protective shields you may no longer need — and may not even realize you’re carrying — so you can reconnect with yourself, your purpose, and the people who matter to you.

I believe that long-standing patterns that no longer work can hide our strengths, our resilience, our purpose and the sense of who we truly are. With a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship, I believe it is possible to work through persistent depression, grief, anxiety, and the emotional imprints of past experiences.

My background shapes my work in meaningful ways. I hold a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology, which deepened my understanding of how identity, culture, and lived experience shape the way we move through the world. I also earned a master’s degree in school psychology and spent many years working in the educational system, where I developed a strong understanding of disabilities of all types — both visible and invisible — and how they impact daily life, self-concept, and relationships. I am currently pursuing a second master’s degree in marriage and family therapy to expand my ability to support others through relational healing.  I have personal experience with the mother wound and how deeply that can affect us.  I am also a sibling of a schizophrenic brother.

I also have a deep connection with nature and its nurturing influence on the nervous system. I often draw from its grounding qualities, inviting clients to reconnect with the parts of themselves that know how to slow down, breathe, and clarity.
