In my younger years I was a project manager in the tech world and then after 20 or so years, decided to work in Patient Advocacy and public health. I’ve worked with Santa Cruz and Monterey health departments in finance and project management. Ten years ago I began a series of contract assignments at UCSC that rolled project management, financial reporting and executive admin functions together with an eye on helping students reach their goals. During the pandemic I was an executive admin for the Genomics Institute at UCSC where faculty and students uploaded everchanging data on Covid to be freely shared with scientists everywhere.

I enjoy seeing the world from a bike and so enjoy putting on bike events (organized rides) from time to time.

I look forward to helping the Shine A Light Staff navigate the ever changing waters of insurance billing in support of improved mental health.
