MFT Trainee

Hi, I’m Molly and I’m so glad you’re here! Seeking therapy can be an intimidating yet deeply self-honoring step. Life can be so hard sometimes, and when it is, we all need a place where we can feel safe to fall apart and pick up the pieces again. We are made up of so many parts – protective parts, wounded parts, resilient parts, and parts that have been waiting a long time to be seen. Therapy is a journey of getting to know these parts with openness and compassion and it would be an honor to walk that journey with you.

I believe that therapy is deeply rooted in relationship. So many of our deepest wounds happen in and through our relationships with others and with ourselves. These wounds can impact our view of ourselves and the ways in which we engage with others and the world around us. The profound and mysterious work of therapy is that those same wounds can be healed in and through relationship. The therapeutic relationship can be a space to begin having a new and reparative experience. We don’t change by learning new information or even necessarily becoming more self-aware. We change by having a new, healing experience that can show us a different way of being, relating, or seeing ourselves.

As a therapist, I am warm, curious, present, and empathetic. I seek to understand and learn where you are coming from and what relationships, experiences, and contexts have shaped you. From there, we can work towards your goals together. My background in social work and outdoor education, as well as my clinical experience and training as a therapist has brought me to my integrative approach that can offer something meaningful regardless of where you are at in your journey.
