Anthem Medi-Cal Clients Welcome!
Shine a Light Counseling Center is an in-network provider with Anthem Medi-Cal plans throughout California. If you have Medi-Cal through Anthem, we can bill your insurance with no deductible or copayment. Your therapy is free. Use the Request for Services form below to get connected to a therapist quickly.
UC SHIP Plans
We welcome new Anthem UC SHIP clients at this time.
Referral from your Student Health Center may be required
Shine a Light Counseling Center is an in-network provider with Anthem UC SHIP plans. UC SHIP plans are provided to students by the University of California. To access a therapist off-campus you may have to obtain a referral from your Student Health Center.
Once you have this referral, there is often no deductible or copayment. Contact your Student Health Center to get a referral and then fill out the Request for Services form below.
Anthem PPO & HMO Plans
Unfortunately we have very limited availability for Anthem PPO clients at this time.
If you have an Anthem Blue Cross PPO or HMO plan, we limited openings for new clients, due to low reimbursement rates from Anthem.
