Shine a Light Counseling Center is an in-network provider with Carelon Behavioral Health for multiple plans throughout California. If you have a Medi-Cal plan that uses Carelon providers for behavioral health services, we can bill your insurance with no deductible or copayment. Your therapy is free. Carelon Private Insurance Plans
Shine a Light Counseling Center is an in-network provider for private insurance that uses Carelon Behavioral Health providers. Some private insurers subcontract with Carelon to provide behavioral health services to their subscribers. Some larger businesses have self-funded insurance plans that use Carelon providers. If you have a private insurance plan that permits you to use Carelon providers, we can help. Kaiser Permanente plans require an authorization from Kaiser to use an external provider.
